dear sir,
we have installed a windows xp sp2 in our pc and labtop but since the new pc came
we had to transfer the scanner with our pc but our pc does not contain a parallel
port outlet so we some how found a way to convert the parallel port outlet to a USB
outlet it worked but the internal software installed in the scanner does not pick
up with the computer although it picks up the USb device attached to scanner and
we also installed the necessary software for it but still the pc does not pick up
the scanner although it is fully connected. the model of our scanner is acer flatbed
scanner scan prisa 640P. can you tell me any way through which i can make the scanner
work with the usb. it worked perfectly with the labtop because it contained a pallel
port outlet. so pl help me i am really despirate to get the thing done.
