BTW I wouldn't run defragmentation too often. By its nature, NTFS does not have perceptibly poorer performance until files become very fragmented, and the process of defragging (involving moving lots - indeed maybe nearly all - of your files) carries an inevitable if small risk of file corruption. In normal use you might get through the life of an XP PC without really needing to defrag and, if you really care, once a year may well suffice :-) Its very different from FAT-based systems.
