Yes it does cycle, thank you for the advice. It has never been cleaned, but I've
never really noticed any significant buildup on or around it. I have never owned
a laptop prior to this one so my experience is limited to towers only. How do I get
to it to clean it? It has a panel over it, but it appears to be the main panel covering
the entire bottom of the computer...the rest of the access panels for the HDD and
DVD drive appear to come right out.
