I have a scanner that was originally hooked up to a printer via male parallel cable and a female parallel cable to the computer. I have now purchased a new printer that is USB and while the scanner is still connected to the computer, the printer via USB is connected to the computer, my computer is now telling me that there is no scanner attached even though technically it is attached. Is there anything I can purchase to get this scanner working please. Sue
