Wireless adapter not showing up in network connetions

I'm having problems getting my Wireless USB adapter to work. It shows up as working properly in the device manager, but it isn't listed under the network connections. I'm using a Linksys WUSB11v4 USB adapter and the computer I'm having problems with is running XP Home SP2. The adapters works just fine on a different computer, although it is running XP Pro SP2. I have tried what troubleshoot tips I could find on here that seemed to apply, all to no avail. Thanks in advance for any help.
