Google "Remove Shared Folder" and you will get many hist that tell you to delete
the sub key
{59031a47-3f72-44a7-89c5-5595fe6b30ee}
Reboot is not needed. It also hides the other users folders in the first frame of
My Computer. However, dig down into all users and find the shared folder is still
there.
So, if an Administrator really wants to eliminate all sharing on the network
by all other users, she will use another method. It is not just a superficial hiding
of the shared and user folders in My Computer

Please look at the link if you wish to secure your network.
