NIS 08 and Spyware Doctor

I have Norton Internet Security 08 running. I uninstalled Spyware Doctor last year;
it slowed things down. But I recently added a lot of RAM and would like to be able
to use SD as it is an excellent program. Can I use both NIS 08 and SDr on my machine?
Is it OK to use more than one spyware program?
