I have just received the XP SP3 RTM and have slipstreamed it into a OEM XP Pro SP2
original disk along with IE7.
It is interesting to note that during a fresh installation the new SP3 slipstreamed
disk will accept BOTH the OEM SP2 and OEM SP2c Product ID codes.
Also, as MS has noted, you can bypass entering the Product ID at the installation
prompt by leaving the code area empty and hitting the next button. The CORRECT (for
the installation CD PRO / HOME) product key will be required later.
