Post SP3 Cleanup?

I installed Service Pack 3 awhile back, and it's been running fine. I've also got
before-and-after full backups, so I have no worries about not being able to revert
my system to SP2.

So I'd like to wipe from my hard drive the *ability* to remove SP3, and also remove
all the associated SP3 backup files. (These would be the backups that the SP3 installation
process made of the pre-SP3 versions of a thousand or so system files and settings.)

Is there a simple, elegant way to do this? The heavyhanded way seems to be to just
delete the Windows\$NTServicePackUninstall$ directory...but that would leave behind
the "Uninstall SP3" entry in Add/Remove programs, and perhaps other things as well.

Thanks!
