thanks again.
would you mind giving me the step by steps to "open the programs associated with
the processes and disable them from that interface"? Do you mean actually opening
program itself, i.e. opening Word, causing a blank word doc to appear, or opening
it some other way? In either case, what would be the procedure? [I'm smart, just
uneducated in these matters ... therefore teachable]
