It took an hour to download it on a comparatively decent cable connection, but for now it remains in reserve "just in case", same as WindowsXP itself isn't my main OS (Win2K is). I will also obtain and carefully preserve the CD version of SP-3 as well, for similar potential requirements.

The majority of its contents have previously been offered through MS Windows' normal XP update pages.
