I'm having a really hard time understanding what you are trying to do...You want to change the login name of the main administrator account? If you have windows XP home edition, you don't. The administrator account is not even accessible unless you are in safe mode. And to top it off, you don't have the users and groups mmc to modify that kind of stuff. Windows XP Home automatically creates an OWNER account. XP Professional will let you manage users and groups by going into computer management and choosing Local Users and Groups.. You can rename any accounts there.
