I do a lot of computer work, and that is why I did install SP3 on this extra PC.
I wanted to see what to expect issue wise.
For my computers SP3 popped up the normal lil' yellow shield icon and stated that
there were updates. SP3 was the update.
This is the default Windows method and the way that my client's PCs are configured,
as it should be for these un-pc-skilled people.
I myself on my XP computer, keep automatic updates on notify, and then just check
the webpage.
I have also noticed that out of the 4 XP PCs in my home, it has only popped up on
2 of them so far.
