Is this even a legitimate program?

Many computers that come to me infected with malware have this program installed 
on it, along with a half a dozen or more others that are either benign or malignant, 
that the customer has installed thinking they can clean their computer in this way. 
 I follow a certain rule for these programs, "kill on sight, ask questions later."

Even if it is legitimate, the chances of this program or any other anti-malware scanner 
making a PC "like new" is virtually non-existent.  At best, it will clean off a few 
viruses or adware/spyware.  

Point being - suggesting that anyone can clean their computer all up by running a 
single anti-malware program is just plain false advertising.  There are many other 
steps involved to actually "clean" a PC effectively.  On the other hand, anything 
beyond a single scan with one or two trusted anti-malware programs, is a waste of 
time.
