If they had the same number of bytes, then that's confirmation that there was nothing 
wrong with it initially, before it was rebuilt.  (This is a solution that typically 
helps when someone upgrades from Win98 to WinXP, without uninstalling their peripherals 
prior to the upgrade...unfortunately, not in your case, I guess.)
