OK, next proposal:
Backup the registry.
Then, edit the registry , and find
HKLM/SYSTEM/CurrentControlSet/Enum/USB. Under
that, find the entry for your camera. Right-click on it, and give everyone full
permissions to read and write it. By everyone, I mean "Everyone" and "SYSTEM," and
whatever else is listed, and check "Allow" for FULL CONTROL....it won't hurt anything
if you overdo it giving permission. Then reboot, and try installing the camera drivers
again.
