Is that the size of your entire hard drive? 10 GB is a bit small for XP, but unless 
you use a very large number of applications it should be sufficient.  XP itself should 
not take up 4.5GB. I don't use SystemRestore at all, as it is not very reliable and 
wastes drive space. Also do you have hibernation enabled?
