I tend to agree with Rich, just to be on the safe side.

However, have you ever used 'Panda's Online ActiveScan 2.0', as per the following
link, under 'Scan your PC now'? NOTE: I am not referring to Panda's standalone
AV itself: -

A short while ago, I scanned one of my PC's with Lavasoft's Ad-Aware and it flagged
'Adware.CtxPopup' as a 'Critical Object'. After submitting the file to Lavasoft for
analysis, it was discovered to be an FP, due to Panda's Online ActiveScan 2.0.

Ultimately, I would cover my back and follow Rich's advice, in respect to posting
a HijackThis log at only one of the forums that he mentioned. Instructions
on how to do so are clearly stated on the respective websites, usually under 'Announcements',
or 'Please read this before posting'.

The 'volunteers' that analyze HijackThis logs on the sites that Rich mentioned are
trained malware removal experts. Therefore, your PC would be getting a clean bill
of health in the process, IMO.

Reference for 'Panda/Avast' FP: -
