I have two AMD systems here - both with SP3 final - and both trouble free. Problems
seem to be with OEM AMD systems, and then only specific systems (though there have
been reports of Intel systems with the same problems).
Having said that, "Unrecoverable" is wrong, too. I did a lot of reading of this.
the so called "Unrecoverable" problems have relatively easy fixes - without resorting
to a full re-install. Google is your friend.
