ATI icon in the "task tray?" What was Simon getting at by that? After trying the
registry hack mentioned on the page, and, after that didn't work, making sure that
all of my file permissions for "Desktop" were good--again no help--I thought again
about your question which got no response. I disabled "Enable System Tray Menu" in
the "Preferences" menu of ATI's Catalyst Control Center, put one desktop icon off
to the side leaving a gap, and after a reboot, voila! It was the same way as before.
Now I can put my icons anywhere I please on my desktop, something I haven't been
able to do for as long as I can remember! Thanks a million!!!
