Just to update this thread. After messing with the windows update website more,
this is what I have found.. You may have known it already.
If you click 'express' scan, it will provide you with one option, you will have to
install SP3.
If you click 'custom', a window pops up, and Microsoft strongly recommends installing
SP3. However, there will be a button that says 'Review other updates' that will
allow you to bypass SP3 and still get remaining critical updates.
Just thought I would post back so the information would be available in the thread.
