Embedded WMP Crashing XP

I only get about 10 - 60 seconds of audio in the embedded player (IE7, WMP11, ) then
it goes into about 10 seconds of repeating the previous 2 seconds of audio then crashes
windows. I once had Task Manager open and IE goes to 99% of CPU.

If I am quick enough I can discover the url of the link and quickly paste it into
a stand alone player but about half the time the embedded player crashes and brings
down XP before I can do this.

So it is definitely the embedded player that causes this.

I tried removing and re-installing WMP. I even ran with no WMP but the embedded player
still crashed.

Firefox wont load the audio at all.

This existed both before and after I loaded SP3.

I must admit the only site I have tried it with is MLB Gameday Audio.

Any ideas?

Henry
