Hello
Hopefully someone more intelligent than me (which shouldn't be too difficult) can
help
I have a home network set up with the following. A wireless Netgear DG834GT Router.
I have it WEP security enabled. My laptop and PC is connected wirelessly using the
following connections. Laptop uses a Broadcom 802.11b/g WLAN connection and PC a
Netgear WG111T wireless adaptor. My router's IP address is 192.168.0.1 and I have
assigned my PC 192.168.0.2 and Laptop 192.168.0.4 static addresses. Everything was
working well for about 6 months until yesterday when my PC said there was an in address
conflict with another system on the network. Yet there is no problem with the laptop.
I have checked my PC's Wireless network connection Properties and check the Internet
Protocols, that appears correct however when I enter dos and type ipconfig the ip
address is 0.0.0.0. Any guesses?
