Larry,

Guess I'm confused by all the problems. Seems users are thinking there is something 
new in SP3.

IMHO, a system that has been kept up-to-date via Windows Update, has no need of SP3, 
everything available is already there.

I can see it for a Clean Install but, otherwise, why ask for trouble?  ??????????????? 
 Also wonder how much is involuntary install of IE7.

I have a feeling that MS prevents the OEM problems via the Update Scan, which I suspect 
is missing, or ineffective on Manual install or install from CD.

Think I'll just leave it alone till I really need it.
