I had the same problem with my NVidia GeForce 6800 video card driver, namely nvsvc32.exe.
The problem started after I upgraded the driver to version 84.30. I stopped the
NVidia Service Support program (nvsvc32.exe) and cpu utilization dropped to 1%.
Apparently, nvsvc32.exe also caused unrelated processes to run amok namely, "csrss.exe"
at 40%+.
