I have the same problem, but a different situation: My hard disk has three startable
partitions. The problem is only with the XP partition, the Windows Me and 2k partitiions
will start without problems.
So I can rule out the BIOS or leaky capacitors, it is just a XP setup problem. It
all started with a complete loss in XP of my network connections, and a subsequent
re-install of the NVIDIA N-Force drivers.
