Hi there. I am struggling with an issue on my laptop. I was getting a bluescreen
0x0000007B message and windows (XP Pro) would never start. I tried safe mode, last
good config etc to no avail. So, I got an enclosure and got all of my important data
off of it before messing about anymore (I was able to read the drive just fine as
an external usb drive.) I did a chkdsk and it found no errors.
Hmmm. Thinking it still may be the drive I bought a new one and installed it into
my laptop and started to proceed to install XP Pro onto it and windows setup did
not recognize that drive either!
So, now I am thinking my drive was fine and I have some sort of BIOS/motherboard
issue. Any ideas/guidance would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Mike
