re: Empty Device Manager Thursday, June 12, 2008 at 2:29 pm Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by David (1 messages posted) I had a empty device manager and the network connections folder was also empty. I tried everything, editing the registry, downloading fixes checking plug and play in the end I used system restore to restore my PC to a time when everything worked fine, if like me you tried everything simply restore your PC. Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore.
