Puppy Linux is about 95 megs, so the small File size makes a pretty easy download,
if not on Dialup anyway. It is a Complete Operating System, and has Burning Software
built in. Once You boot from the Puppy CD it Loads into the Ram, so that frees up
The CD rom, and the Puppy CD can be removed if the Computer only has one CD rom Drive,
like a Laptop. I use it on Desktop Computers all the Time to do what you want, but
it doesn't always work on Laptops, but I haven't tried it on many either, so I may
have just been unlucky on that.
