NetscapeDispatchWind... always needs shut down when turning off computer, and causes massive slowdowns

Ok, I hope someone can explain this to me, and offer some solution.
I am using windows XP home edition, on an Asus P4B motherboard, with 640 megs RAM,
and a Nvidia Geforece 4000 + video card (not that that would really be pertinent)
Often, but not always, when I try to shut down running programs, and turn off my
computer, it takes forever to close some of the programs, (SecondLife Client especially)
and whenever this happens, when i finally get to tell windows to shut down, I get
a message saying windows can't close a program listed as "NetscapeDispatchWind..."
and that's all I can see of the name of the program, as it is cut off in the dialog
box, but I assume its "Windows".
The trouble is, I do NOT run netscape, don't have it or mozilla or firefox or any
other Netscape based browser installed on my system. I use Opera for most browsing,
only resorting to IE for sites where Opera has issues....(which is very few, but
occasional forums posting mostly). I have NEVER had any Netscape based browser installed
on this computer, and i have no idea why any Netscape program should be running,
why it should slow my computer to almost a standstill, and why it has such a huge
effect on the SecondLife Client.
And what is worse, if i search (and believe me I have) there is not a "NetscapeDispatchWind"
or NetscapeDispatch- ANYTHING, anywhere on any of my hard drives. And yes, I enabled
searching hidden files and folders, and system files. And there is also no sign of
any NetscapeDispatch-ANYTHING anywhere in the registry either....
So what is this and how do I get rid of it, if that is possible? I can't see how
it could be a virus as i just updated my virus software to AVG 8, and its totally
up to date. And My firewall (ZoneAlarm) does not show any Netscape programs trying
tp access the internet...
I am at my wits end. I hate waiting five minutes for SecondLife Client to shut down,
then another five minuites for Windows to display the Cannot close NetscapeDispatchWind
dialog, just to turn off my computer.
And the best part is, sometimes, this doesn't happen at all, and as far as i can
determine, I am doing all the same things on my machine both when it happens and
when it does not. Sometimes, I tell SecondLife to close and BAM its shut down, I
tell the computer to shutdown, and BAM its off... but other times, its the whole
five minutes waiting for this Netscape thing to end (even if i click "end now" when
its dialog pops up) while my hard drives go nuts accessing and accessing (what they
are accessing, i have no idea)
So please, does anyone know what this is, and is there a way to stop it? Its also
NOT listed anywhere in startup settings, i checked that too.
