You're right... it's there somewhere. It's part of the OS. Have a look in Program
Files folder for an IE directory. You may just be missing some shortcuts?
Otherwise, locate a file named IE.INF and choose "install" from the context menu.
Reboot.
Nonetheless, you should create a System Restore point, or back up your registry,
before doing some major tweaking.
