Well, I read that article.. Its funny how some people in those forums will post stuff that is so silly and then others are like YAY!! You fixed my problem.. Give me a break.. So, just to add my two cents. The original "solution" posted was to hide the notification on your taskbar, which does absolutely nothing for fixing the problem and you will still have all kinds of problems. So, ignore that joke all together! Now, they did suggest that going into control panel -> system -> hardware -> device manager, and then right-click the MTP device and clicking uninstall has solved the issue. However, it is definitely an issue with the driver being installed for this device. Try this solution and post back to us.
