Let me get this straight. Your mobo has on-board sound, all the drivers are installed ok and it looks as though it ought to be working yes? There is also a comms device with no driver but that isn't the problem - you have no sound from the speakers and that is the problem? Is the volume control (sndvol32.exe) turned up? Are you sure the speakers are plugged into the right socket (this one has caught me out before) and are the speakers "active" or "passive" (active speakers have a power supply or batteries)? The output from the sound device might not support passive speakers if that is what you have. Cheers. Spexx.
