I am requesting assistance in resolving an unexpected problem. I tried launching a DVD by using WMP 11. When I attempt to launch the player, I receive a message window with the following: Windows Media Player cannot play the DVD because a compatible DVD decoder is not installed on your computer. I have removed WMP and reinstalled it and nothing changes. This just happened all of a sudden with no warning at all. I'm at a loss as to why this happened and what can I do to fix it? I followed the checklist by altering my screen resolution, and updating my drivers etc. I can not get my DVD to play! I also ran the Video Decoder Checkup utility which gave me two red x's. This is a new one to me and I don't know what to do now. If anybody can please offer a solution, I would really appreciate it. Thank you.
