Important to note: the troublesome "button" may be an icon in the tray, rather than
one of the minimized application buttons in the main part of the taskbar. I had
this problem happen to me tonight upon resuming from a hibernate, and the one I had
to click on to solve the problem was the tray icon for DU Meter, which apparently
had wanted some kind of attention.
