re: unable to delete a file Sunday, July 6, 2008 at 2:37 am Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by branson (1 messages posted) i have tried everything that everyone has tried but the files are still not being deleted.It wont even let me watch them any more. i was moving them around from folder to folder along with deleting some files when it messed up. they are on my external hardrive and when i try it says " cannot delete [NTF]file name: Access is denied. Make sure the disk is not full or write-protected and that the file is not currently in use, Also it wont open in note pad. i cant change the name, and says access denied when trying to open it with other programs. Any help anyone can offer would be great thanxs.
