Windows XP twice on my computer Wednesday, July 23, 2008 at 12:59 pm Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by michele2007 (135 messages posted) Does anyone know why I have c:\Windows and a d:\Windows directories? Some of the D: files are from 3/31/03 when I got the computer and my nephew set it up with Windows XP Professional. But some of them are dated 1/25/06 when a shop set me up with Windows Home after the some of the drive got damaged in shipping. And some of the D: files are of more recent dates. As a matter of fact in my last thread where I deleted css-dvp.sys in c:, I looked to see if it was really deleted and it went to c:\Recycler AND d:\Recycler. It seems like both the C: and D: Windows directors are being used. Is this normal?
