Blue error screen on running antivirus Thursday, July 24, 2008 at 12:18 pm Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by heather (10 messages posted) Hi, I know there are posts from before on blue error screen messages, but I really dont know if they are the same as mine, so here goes. I get a blue error screen when running AVG 8.0 which I upgraded from 7.5,never had this when running 7.5, this also sometimes happened when running Adaware or Spybot, I was convinced that it was something to do with AVG so uninstalled it, Adaware and Spybot ran fine after that, well for the couple of times that I tried them after. So I installed a different antivirus Avira antivir, on running that last night, lo and behold we crashed again with the blue error screen. Have had several different messages :Driver_not_less_or_equal, Pfn_list_corrupt, Bad_pool_caller. Not sure what any of these mean. Am on a Packard Bell Imedia 1706 with XP Home. Hopefully someone can help.
