NEED HELP!!!
To whom it may concern:
Please help me, my CD ROM disappeared after upgrading from SP2 to SP3...After two
days a friend lend me his windows royale but to no avail it didn't fix the problem..Now
I can't even see my CD ROM in my device manager, I've tried searching in the net
to fix my problem but to no avail have failed...I've tried the ROUXDOUX and CDGONE
patch, the registry edit by deleting the lower an dupper filter, this method doesn't
fix my problem with my CD ROM disappearance..
In my registry I noticed that I have 4 cotrol sets numbered 1,2 and 3 and the other
one is the current control set...Would deleting the numbered control set fix the
problem???
Or will re-installing the SP2 guarantee full functionality of the CD ROM???
PLEASE ADVISE...
