Hi Thanks for your help, have done what you said with the ram, then tried running antivirus, but again it went to blue error screen, saying bad_pool_caller. So did the windows diagnostic memory test which reported no errors, so now I am back where I started. Am hoping you may have some more ideas? Thanks again
