Hello fellas... I'm in need of some assistance. I had this case running with Microsoft, and they couldn't give me an answer I could use. Here's the case: A couple of months ago, I thought it would be a good idea to reboot my system as my computer was starting to run a bit slow. I've done this many times before, and never experienced any seriously problems, but this time was different. At the beginnig everything was fine, and I installed all my drivers for my hardware, like always. I started updating windows, which was no problem until I installed "service pack 2". After the reboot, my computer started to pause for 2-3 seconds every minute or so. I tried to re-install windows, 'cause maybe I've made a mistake in the installation phase. But everytime I installed "service pack 2" it began to do this pause thing. I then tried to contact Microsoft, who wanted to start a case. But all they ever figured out was that I should try to unplug my hardware, start over and plug in my hardware one by one and intall the drivers. I tried that, but before I plugged in any hardware I tried to install "service pack 2". No change at all. Still doing that pause thing. So I've been running windows with no updates until now, but it's a problem, as many programs can't be intalled unless I have "service pack 2" installed. I hope that someone can give me some hints.
