Flash drive won't work Thursday, July 31, 2008 at 10:58 am Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Walter (97 messages posted) I am using Windows XP pro and I put in my sansdisk 2 gig flash drive and it works, no problem. Then I put in my Memorex Mini Travel Drive and it says it needs to be formatted. I have files I don't want to lose and I have some DLs from Memorex but I keep seeing online where other people have had the same problem and when they tried to format the drive they get error messages. I am going to install the Memorex DLs but I don't even know if they include the drivers or not. Memorex doesn't say what's in the files. What can I do to get my drive to work? It worked on my old version of Windows XP Home.
