re: Empty Device Manager (FIXED) Friday, August 1, 2008 at 10:43 am Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by mmss (5 messages posted) So what i did was used window restore. first go to start and go to all program and to accessories. you will see window restore. click on that and pick a date way back. Then your window will automatically shut down and restore the old data WHEN device manager was working. IF restoring windows didn't work. try it with your computer in safe mode. that's how mine worked. good luck for others!
