You misunderstand. Jaf said that the links you supplied actually point to items stored on your own machine. From the outside world, so to speak, we have no access to your machine and so we cannot see those items. You would need to provide a URL which is available to the public. For example, the picture for my signature below is stored on a Web server which everybody can read from - if I only provided a link to the copy on my own machine, nobody would be able to see it.
