Saturday, September 13, 2008 at 5:09 am Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by ULAMSS5 (1 messages posted) the ALT+Ctrl+Delete thing works. press "e" at the processes tab, and look for explorer.exe and end it, on the top left corner of the task manager, theres the "file". click on the first option, "new task(run...)" and type in "explorer.exe" and hit enter. the taskbar appeared back for me :) but it seems everything has been reset. the "notification" area of the taskbar, the one on the extreme right that displays the time, connections, msn, and other stuff, they're all reset and not there anymore so i had to re start all the those programs manually.
