I am having this problem too. This is like Chinese water torture and I want to through 
the PC out the Window.

Anyway, I followed most of the pertinent instructions in this list, but I am still 
having drive accesses :-(. (btw after uninstalling Kaspersky, the drive accesses 
slow down a little but do not stop (still almost every 2 sec continually) ).
