Well, thank you Ricer46 and Jacob. I just did that, to no avail, the "chkdsk c: /r" to verify. Excuse me for being presumptuous, it wasn't my intention, but on any other forums I've asked this, and they all replied with the same (i e virus), so that's why I, sort of, had to make a little presumption of "heard that one before". The search function, yes, it aint the best one around, it couldn't take all of the words I was typing in. Since it can be a lot of things it seems. I looked and found something, but it wasn't really what I was looking for, OR I've already tried those tips and tricks. Thank you anyway.
