Felicity,
There is no way to know, at this time, whether your OS is "LEGAL" or not. A lost
CD is not conclusive of Pirated Software.
Post back with some info on your system, Make & model Number would be helpful. If
it is OEM you may only need to find or purchase new Restore CD'S.
Some OEM provide them free, some at nominal cost. If not OEM there are still ways
to recover your OS so you can determine if you need to Purchase WinXP.
Look on your Computer Case for a label with the Product Code. If you find one, write
it down for easy access.
