I ended up going to Microsoft and download IE7 again, after that everything is fine. No problems accessing any sites, my system restore is working. Everything back to normal. I guess IE was damaged when the McAfee download hung, and I had to turn off my computer. I appreciate your help, and the tip on agenransack!!
