I have 3 general observations on "web-stuff" in general and your situation in particular:

1 I'm a real big fan of the Mozilla products--Firefox, Thunderbird (email), the FTP
client (I forget the name), etc.

2. I'm very fond of AgentRansack, and now that you're back in business you might
want to consider it.

3. Computing has become horribly complex. Ultimately, every computer user has to
develop some expertise of his or her own to keep the computer running properly--the
folks who deliver "tech support" all too often have no real in-depth knowledge and
work by cookbook. (Maybe everyone should consider getting such a cookbook of their
own.)
